First success for Prelude SIEM in Russia

Designer and integrator of security solutions, CS announces the signature of a partnership agreement with ISS for the distribution and integration of its PRELUDE solution in Russia.

A first deployment of PRELUDE SIEM was successfully completed with a major insurance company, AlfaStrakhovanie.

PRELUDE SIEM is the only French and European SIEM (Security Information Event Management) solution for real-time monitoring of the security status of an information and communication system. PRELUDE SIEM collects, normalizes, sorts, aggregates, correlates and displays all security events regardless of the types of equipment being monitored. It provides a unified view of the security situation and thus ensures optimal risk governance, moving from prevention to action.

An essential brick for intelligent security, PRELUDE SIEM plays a key role in detecting threats and enabling action to be taken as soon as possible in the event of a cyber attack. PRELUDE SIEM thus perfectly meets the needs of a Security Operation Center (SOC).

PRELUDE SIEM uses the IDMEF security message standard, for full interoperability with anti-intrusion probes, and natively embeds the IODEF format, allowing security incidents to be easily communicated in real time between SOCs within the same group, or belonging to different entities. These two standards are supported by the Ministry of Defence and ANSSI.

PRELUDE SIEM provides an appropriate response to infrastructure protection challenges, particularly those of national critical industries.

“PRELUDE SIEM is today the only SIEM alternative of French and European origin on a market dominated by American solutions. This first partnership marks the deployment of PRELUDE SIEM on the international market, other international partners could quickly materialize and confirm the relevance of our solution,” says Gilles LEHMANN, PRELUDE SIEM product manager.

“PRELUDE SIEM is part of our global cybersecurity offer. CS is now the only French company with a complete range of strong security solutions and products entirely designed and developed in France,” says Didier GARDET, Director of CS’s Defence & Security Business Unit.
